The wrong calendar opens

Google, Outlook, Outlook.com, and Yahoo each open that service. Apple Calendar downloads event.ics and hands it to Calendar on the device. Download calendar file saves the same file so they can open it themselves. The last click is what Selected Calendar stores after Next or Finish.

The event is an hour long

A timed event with a blank End lasts one hour. Set End when the visit or class runs longer. An all-day event with a blank end lasts the start day only.

The button does nothing

Start is required. Without a valid start, the button stays disabled and Error says a start date is required.

The screen fails when you map the address

Location must be text. An Address field such as Billing Address is a compound field and breaks the screen. Map a text field, such as the street.

Times look shifted

Timed events are stored in UTC. All-day events use the calendar date in Time Zone, or the UTC date when that zone is blank. On a Lightning page, type Start and End as UTC text.
