They got a meeting invitation

Event Method Request attaches invite.ics and asks people to respond. For a signup, shift, or visit, use Publish. That attaches event.ics with no guest list.

A later email created a second event

Cancel and update only work when the later send reuses the stored Event UID and uses a higher Event Sequence. A blank Event UID creates a new id, so the calendar app treats it as a new event.

The email did not send

• Event Start has to be set.
• Subject and Body are required when you are not using an email template.
• An organization-wide sender has to be a verified address.
• Read Error Message. Success is false when the send failed.
